Foundation for the Promotion of Social Inclusion and Holistic Development of People with Cognitive Disabilities in Pereira, Colombia

Who we are

We are a nonprofit organization based in Pereira, Colombia, committed to the inclusion and development of children and young people with cognitive and sensory disabilities. Since our founding on September 29, 2004, we have worked to provide opportunities that transform lives through art, culture, and education.

We offer programs that promote music, dance, and other creative disciplines, allowing each participant to discover their talent, strengthen their skills, and become active members of society.

Our work reflects our social responsibility and commitment to a more equitable future.

Our objectives

Support and promote social inclusion and the holistic development of people with disabilities from the bio-psycho-social perspectives.

Implement plans, programs, and projects that contribute to the sustainability of the Foundation.

Design products, programs, and services for the entire population that improve health conditions.

Contribute to education, training, and skill development to foster research and growth in the fields related to health determinants.

Work towards social inclusion that enables the building of a more equitable, inclusive, and just world for all.

 

Our resources

The Colsalud Foundation obtains its resources through:

The implementation of training and educational programs.

Development and submission of projects to both public and private entities.

Support from private companies and donations from socially conscious individuals.

Sale of items decorated by the children and young people who benefit from the artistic workshops and musical performances of the Talentos Colsalud group.

These resources are invested in the various programs and services that benefit all our users at no cost to them.
